SHORES OF BEAVERCREEK LAKE. EARLY MORNING. SATURDAY.
It was early, so early that the glow of the sun had still not reached some parts of the town. There were some scattered birds calling to each other, but otherwise it was quiet.. Perfect. The last thing he needed was some obnoxious boat-riders driving by and disturbing the placid lake waters, or some loud children screaming and causing a disturbance; it wasn't that Daniel disliked all people, he disliked most of them: the loud ones, the annoying ones, the politic-obsessed ones, the ones without an ounce of logic.. Everyone else was bearable or people he was actually fond of.
Sighing, the rare expression of a smile crossed his features as he settled his bag softly down a few feet from the lake's edge, sitting on a nearby log and gazing out to the water. He had originally decided to come out here to paint the scene, but after the short trek and finally sitting down, he wasn't too sure. 'What I wouldn't give for a cup of coffee right now,' he briefly thought, resting his elbows on his knees and in turn resting his chin on the palms of his hands.
Some simple, dark sweat pants and a tee shirt was the outfit of the day, Daniel having left in a rush earlier that day. A car alarm had refused to go off and after an unsuccessful hour of trying to go back to sleep, he tossed on some clothes and some paints and a small canvas in a bag and then headed off. It wasn't what he usually wore, no, but who was really thinking when their mind was still mildly fogged over with sleep? In fact, he student was about to drift off to sleep without realizing when he had heard a sound behind him. He jumped slightly and froze, quickly rubbing his eyes and turning. 'It better be just a duck or else-' He was obviously wrong, as when he turned around, instead he locked eyes with another pair all-too human.
