Smiling she watched him move closer being careful not to move the bed to much or to hurt her. She felt him take her hand and she looked down, her hand looked so small in his. She finally decided to answer him, ok works for me it will be a nice surprise when im all healed up and I think the cow did get lucky but mostly looking out for her calve. She smiled and looked at him, I play guitar, sing and draw I also like to paint. To her it felt like they had been together for a while it was relaxing to have him here and the company was all the better. She decided to move and close the gap between them and rested her head on his shoulder, don’t worry im not hurting myself. She spoke and sighed looking straight ahead at the painting of an old barn, I painted that, that’s one of our old barns, its come down now thanks to a storm but it was still fun to paint. She smiled, the painting above my bed of the horse I also did that too, I don’t ever half anything, I take my time, grabbing her sketch book off the night table, she flipped it open to the current thing she had been working on and put it in his lap, that’s my newest thing im working on ya I know it only looks like a horse but its going to be more when im done. You can look at the rest of my drawings if you want, it doesn’t bother me. She closed her eyes enjoying being close to him, she was waiting for him to look through her drawings and say something about them. So she silently waited with her eyes closed and her head on his shoulder.

His mind started thinking of things he could do to help her pass the time. Maybe ask her to teach him guitar? No, that wouldn't turn out well. He could maybe ask her to draw something for him. He smiled as she pointed at her artwork. "You're pretty talented. I'm not so great at creative things." He laughed a little and took her sketchbook as she handed it too him.

He started flipping through a few pages as she spoke. He flinched slightly when she laid her head on his shoulder but he forced himself to remain calm and kept his attention on her sketches. "These are real nice Aria. You seem to have a God-given talent." He wasn't lying either. She was a talented artist, at least in eyes eyes. He couldn't draw anything decent, and he was probably a little bias just because he liked her, but she was still pretty good.

He glanced around her room and his eyes fell onto a clock on the wall. The afternoon was starting to slip away from them and he wondered how soon her family would be coming in for the day and starting family activities like cooking dinner and such. He knew his own mom would be starting to cook in about an hour or so, which meant he'd have to leave soon so he wasn't late. But he wasn't quite ready to leave yet, especially now that they were starting to get close for the first time.

Ethan mustered up some courage and decided to reach up and wrap one of his arms around her, letting his hand come to rest gently on her arm. He was careful to make sure he didn't bump her or hurt her injury, and he hoped he wasn't hurting her. As an afterthought, he leaned down and kissed her gently on the forehead. "Are you tired? Maybe you should get in a nap before all your family comes back in for the night." He realized being with her felt so natural, now that he was trying to give it a chance. He slowly caressed her arm as he held her, and wondered what he'd do if she actually fell asleep on him.

She couldn’t help but blush as he said she had a talent, thank you I try. She laughed and felt his arm go around her and then a gentle kiss on the forehead. She smiled and thought about his suggestion, but looking at the clock told her she didn’t have enough time to take a nap, I don’t have enough time for a nap mama is going to be back and is going to need me to help out by watching the kids and after dinner I have to bath and get them ready for bed. She sighed that was going to easily be half her night, dad won’t be in till late tonight he got to watch the cows and be there if they need help I may need help but mama is going to be busy cleaning the kitchen and dining room so it could be interesting. She looked up at him and smiled, yes it was going to be a very interesting night to say the least, it was up to her to make sure no one drowned in the tub and that everyone would be dressed, teeth brushed, hair brushed and tucked into bed before nine o’clock, nine ten was the latest. Aria are you in here? Yes mama, well come down here and watch the kids I got to start cooking is Ethan staying for dinner? I don’t think so, well it don’t matter to me if he does or doesn’t there’s plenty of food I got to cook enough to feed your dad and the works. Aria smiled knowing tonight was going to be a big meal, she sat up and stood. Your more than welcome to stay, she spoke turning and walking down the stairs and into the living room, Tommy was the second oldest at nine, then came Danny at Eight, Then Maria at Six, Josie and Jade were twins and they were both five, Harry was Three, Lilly was two and Macy was twelve weeks. Aria sat down on the couch and watched the kids play, flipping the tv to something that was more kid friendly then what had been on. Ria play? Lilly crawled up into her lap and sat down, look Ria baby! She smiled, that’s a nice baby doll you got there Lilly, can you get the bag and dress her? Lilly nodded and slid off her lap and went across the room and grabbed the bag and came back sitting in Aria’s lap. Play? She spoke, Aria took the doll and pulled a dress out and put it on the doll, giving the doll back to Lilly, you got to feed her, shes a hungry baby, she bit my finger. Aria held her finger and Lilly laughed and stuck the bottle to the dolls mouth and giggled again, Aria smiled and Harry came over with his doctor kit and stuck a band aid on, all better. He spoke and walked off again, she looked at the plastic band aid around her wrist and she couldn’t help but laugh a little. She was hopping Ethan could join her for a little bit before he had to leave.
