stop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective The sound of high heels made a click-click-clicking sound as a young female made her way down the sidewalk. She wore dark sunglasses and moved along in a hurried "don't bother me" kind of way. It was a nice Sunday evening just before 8:00 PM. The sun was beginning to set, but it was still daylight, though probably not bright enough for her to actually need those obnoxiously large sunglasses.
She groaned as she came to the end of one row of buildings on the street. Closed, closed, closed, closed, closed. Ughhh, this is just fan-freakin'-tabulous. Isn't anything in this town open on a Sunday? She exhaled in an annoyed fashion and crossed the narrow one way street, without checking for traffic first. Her high heels carried her swiftly down the last small row of businesses in the town square, and of course, none of them were open either.
Simone was not impressed, to say the very least. She mentally asked herself why she'd allowed her mother to talk her into coming here in the first place. She was not a country girl, by any stretch of the word. Her mom had told her she'd be able to get an apartment "in town"...she hadn't realized that the idea of a town around here was apparently a cluster of businesses around the city hall. There were some residential areas beyond the tidy row of dull-painted buildings, but it still wasn't much of a town.
She sat down on one of the benches and buried her head in her hands, feeling close to tears. She'd flown in to the nearest airport and then taken a bus, which had dropped her off in the center of town. She'd been planning on calling her mother, but her phone kept telling her it had no service. It really seemed like she might be stuck until someone came to her rescue.
you come along because i love your face , and i'll admire your expensive taste - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I couldn't take it any more, all that unpacking was starting to get on my nerves, I needed something else to do. I figured a stroll in the town center would do me some good. Though the day was nearly over it was still pretty warm out, and a pair of dark blue jean short shorts a light blue tank top and flip flops was all I needed, oh and my aviators. I left my hair down, but was starting to wish I had tied it up, oh well. I looked in the windows of the stores I passed, nothing was open, just my luck, but no big deal. My cell rings, I check the caller ID, my mother, I loved my mother, but every time she called, all she seemed to want was to know when I would be home, I never had an answer for her. Answering the call with a cheerful greeting as I continued to walk down the side walk. To my surprise, she didn't pester me about going home, I made the call short and sweet, that topic was bound to come up soon. Continuing down the street, though it wasn't much of a street, but a street none the less, I noticed the young woman, who by the way she was dressed, didn't look like a local. She didn't seem all to happy, with what ever it was, and well being new to this place, I needed to meet some people, and as quick as possible. I am sure if I didn’t meet someone soon, I would go mental or something, boxes wasn’t my idea of good company. I wasn’t sure how I would start this conversation, normally I would be at some party, a guy would greet me, he would introduce me to his friends, and the conversations would fly from their. I didn’t have much experience meeting someone while I was sober. Being a little intoxicated seemed to just loosen everyone up making getting to know each other a lot easier. But hey, I was always up for a challenge and though this may not be much of a challenge to a lot of people, it was for me. I took in a deep breath with a warm bright smile. ”Excuse me, but do you know if there are any..” My train of though just ran off the tracks as I stumbled to think of something, I looked around quickly. ”Stores open around here?” Of course there are no stores open around here! But it was the first thing that came to mind as I looked around this small town noticing that everything seemed to be closed for the night. I felt pretty stupid now but it was already said and done, no turning back now.
